Reboot. A founder story.
What is it like to fail as a founder?
If you crashed and burned, would you do it again? Should you?
Why do startups fail?
What is it that founders do?
Jawwad asked these questions over and over again with startup failures starting in New York and finishing in Karachi. With transit stops in Southern California, Northern Virginia, Dubai, Thailand & Singapore.
In 1999.
Reboot is his story. From the other side of the planet.
The book has three sections.
1. Book One – Avicena – Jawwad’s first encounter with online education, bootstrapped in New York, incubated in Orange County, dead on arrival in Leesburg, Virginia.
2. Book Two – An honest commentary on what went wrong, when, where and how.
3. Book Three – Why do startups fail and what we can do as founders to fix it?
In its 3rd edition, the book has been used for case studies, class notes, online discussions as well as setting expectations for new founders out on their first rodeo.
